Carbon manufactures carbon and graphite components for
a range of pump and compressor applications. We have a
range of carbon materials, including resin bonded base
grades, which we also offer with a range of impregnations
from resin to a variety of metals depending upon the application.
The grade of material is selected to suit the specific
chemical, environmental and running conditions of your
application. Anglo Carbon also manufactures a range of
filled PTFE materials which have proven to give excellent
low wear rates for dry gas applications.

Carbon should be considered where high temperatures, risk of
contamination, or the media and or environmental conditions
may lead to the corrosion of other materials. Due to carbons’
frictional properties, being chemically inert, resistant too
high temperatures and with a low coefficient of thermal expansion
along with high mechanical strength and ability, means that
these difficult operating conditions can be overcome.
